Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the steering linkage shield. Refer to Steering Linkage Shield Replacement in Steering Linkage (Non-Rack and Pinion).

    3. Object Number: 416592 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) from the shut-off valve (2).

    4. Object Number: 416593 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the shut-off valve hose (1) from the AIR pump by releasing the spring clamp.

    5. Object Number: 416594 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the reactor pipe assembly from the reactor pipes by releasing the spring clamps.

    6. Object Number: 373100 Size: SH
  6. Remove the reactor pipe assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 416594 Size: SH
  1. Connect the reactor pipe assembly to the reactor pipes by installing the spring clamps.

    2. Object Number: 416592 Size: SH
  2. Install the vacuum hose (1) to the shut-off valve (2).

    3. Object Number: 416593 Size: SH
  3. Connect the shut-off valve hose (1) to the AIR pump by installing the spring clamp.
  4. Install the steering linkage shield. Refer to Steering Linkage Shield Replacement in Steering Linkage (Non-Rack and Pinion).
