- If the vehicle loses battery
power, or if the liftgate window power release electrical circuit is interrupted,
you may open the liftgate window manually from inside of the vehicle.
- Perform the following procedure:
| 2.1. | Release the liftgate window before opening the liftgate. |
| 2.2. | Peel back the edge of the carpet slightly in order to expose the
access hole in the trim panel. |
Begin peeling at the upper center of the carpet on the liftgate trim
panel.
| 2.3. | Reach through the access hole with a screwdriver in order to move
the release lever toward the passenger side of the vehicle. |
| 2.4. | Open the liftgate using the liftgate handle. |
| 2.5. | Secure the loosened carpet to the liftgate trim panel. |
