Removal Procedure
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to 
Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory.
 
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to 
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
 
- Remove the Front Air Deflector. Refer to 
Front Air Deflector Replacement.
 
- Using a suitable tool, rotate the air conditioner
(A/C) belt tensioner (2) clockwise.
 
- Remove the A/C belt (1).
 
- Slowly release the A/C belt tensioner (2).
 
- Clean and inspect the belt surfaces of all the pulleys.
 
Installation Procedure
- Install the A/C belt (1) around the crankshaft
balancer (2).
 
- Using a suitable tool, rotate the A/C belt tensioner (3) clockwise.
 
- Install the A/C belt (1) over the A/C belt tensioner (3)
idler pulley.
 
- Install the A/C belt (1) around the A/C compressor pulley (4).
 
- Slowly release the tension on the A/C belt tensioner (3).
 
- Inspect the A/C belt (1) for correct installation and alignment.
 
- Install the Front Air Deflector. Refer to 
Front Air Deflector Replacement.
 
- Lower the vehicle.
 
- Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to 
Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory.
