Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Rear Differential Fill Plug

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip

1. The fluid level should be level with the bottom of the threads of the fill hole.
2. If the fluid level is low, refer to Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement for the proper fill instructions and type of fluid.

Tighten
39 N·m (29 lb ft)
