1. Place the turn/hazard headlamps switch assembly into the HIGH position.
2. Disconnect the daytime running lamps (DRL) relay connector.
3. Connect the test lamp between terminal 4 of the DRL harness connector and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect the fused jumper between terminal 4 and terminal 3 of the DRL relay harness connector.

Does the left high beam headlamp operate?

Repair the open in CKT 740 between the fuse block and the DRL relay. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Replace the DRL relay.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

--

1. Reconnect the DRL relay connector.
2. Disconnect the left composite headlamp assembly connector.
3. Connect the test lamp between terminal B of the left composite headlamp assembly harness connector and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the left composite headlamp assembly.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Repair the open in CKT 593 between the DRL relay and the left composite headlamp assembly. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
