- Disconnect the LH outside mirror.
- Move the mirror select switch to the LH position.
- Connect a test light between the mirror connector terminal A
and ground.
- Hold the mirror switch in the DOWN position.
Does the test light illuminate?

- Connect the test light between the mirror connector terminal A
and terminal C.
- Hold the mirror switch in the UP position.
- Hold the mirror switch in the DOWN position.
Does the test lamp illuminate in both positions?

- Connect the test light between the mirror connector terminal A
and terminal B.
- Hold the mirror switch in the LEFT position.
- Hold the mirror switch in the RIGHT position.

- Inspect the wiring from the mirror to the switch
- Inspect the connections between the mirror switch and the LH outside
mirror.

- Inspect for a faulty connection between the outside mirror switch
and the LH outside mirror.
