J 28535 Intermediate Band Apply Pin Gage

1. Install the intermediate servo apply pin (129) from the disassembled servo into the case intermediate servo bore.
2. Install the J 28535 onto the case (15). Position the tool pin on top of the servo pin (129).



3. Using a torque wrench, tighten J 28535 .

Tighten
Tighten J 28535 to 11 N·m (100 lb in)

4. Look for the white line to appear in the window:

•	If the white line appears in the window, the pin length is correct

•	If the white line appears above the window, the pin is too short

•	If the white line appears below the window, the pin is too long

5. Select the correct pin (129), refer to Transmission General Specifications .
6. Repeat the test procedure in order to verify the correct pin selection.
7. Remove J 28535 .
