DEFINITION: The engine continues to run after the ignition is turned OFF, but runs very rough. If the engine runs smooth, inspect the ignition switch and adjustment.

Fuel System

Inspect the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test with Special Tool or Fuel Injector Balance Test with Tech 2 .

Additional Checks

Inspect for a short between B+ and any of the ignition feed circuits. Refer to Power Distribution Schematics in Wiring Systems.
