Important: Refer to Air Brakes to depressurize the system before performing any service procedures.
Inspect for foreign objects between the following components:
| • | The lever and the stop peg |
| • | The actuator and the bracket |
Verify that the following components are tightened to specifications:
| • | The two mounting bracket bolts |
| • | The stop peg |
| • | The clamp rings |
Inspect the following components for dirt:
| • | The actuator push rod end |
| • | The lip seal |
| • | The breather |
| • | The pivot |
Refer to Maintenance Schedule in Maintenance and Lubrication for the proper maintenance intervals.
