Connect a J 35616-200 between cavity A at the inoperative spotlamp and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Connect a J 35616-200 between the body of the spotlamp and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 940 (BLK) between the spotlamp and the IP fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

1. Inspect the spotlamp bulb and replace as necessary.
2. Replace the spotlamp assembly if the spotlamp bulb is OK.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

Repair the ground between the spotlamp assembly and the body of the vehicle.

Is the repair complete?
