Was the instrument panel cluster (IPC) system check performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. With a scan tool select Instrument Panel Cluster, Special Functions, Lamp Test, and command the Low Coolant message ON

Does the Low Coolant message turn ON and OFF when commanded?

Go to Low Engine Coolant Level Indicator Diagnosis for 4.3L

or Engine Coolant Level Switch/Sensor Diagnosis for 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L

Go to Step 3

Replace the IPC. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement

Is the repair complete?
