1. Turn ignition OFF.
2. Connect a scan tool.
3. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
4. Using the scan tool, check for any DTCs in the body control module (BCM).

Does the scan tool show any DTCs ?

Go to Step 2

Remove and inspect the FR PRK fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Locate and repair CKT 2309 (BRN) for a short to ground.
2. Replace fuse.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

1. Inspect the park lamps for open filaments.
2. Replace if needed.
3. Ensure that connector C4 at the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC) is properly seated.

Was the problem found?

--

System OK

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair CKT 2309 (BRN) for an open between park lamps andthe UBEC.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK
