Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1724366 Size: SH
  1. Remove the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement .
  2. Loosen the right fuel feed pipe fittings.
  3. Remove the right fuel feed pipe clamp bolt.
  4. Reposition the right fuel feed pipe aside to access the boost sensor.

    5. Object Number: 1412235 Size: SH
  5. Remove the boost sensor bracket bolt.
  6. Remove the boost sensor and bracket.
  7. Separate the boost sensor from the bracket.
  8. Inspect the sensor seal for damage, replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1412235 Size: SH
  1. Position the boost sensor onto the bracket.
  2. Install the boost sensor and bracket.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the boost sensor bracket bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Position the right fuel feed pipe.
  5. Install the right fuel feed pipe clamp bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  6. Tighten the right fuel feed pipe fittings.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the fittings to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  7. Install the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement .
