  • Inspect the following components for cracked joints, broken welds, or corrosion damage that may cause leaks in the exhaust system:
    •    - The exhaust pipes
       - The seals
       - The catalytic converters
       - The mufflers
       - The tailpipes
       • 
    Object Number: 168887 Size: SH
  • Inspect the clamps, the brackets, and the insulators for the following conditions:
    •    - Cracks
       - Broken bolts
       - Stripped bolt threads
       - Corroded bolt threads
       • 
  • The exhaust system (including the heat shield) must be free of the following conditions:
    •    - Leaks
       - Binding
       - Grounding
       - Excessive vibration
       • 
  • These conditions may occur if any of the following components are loose or damaged:
    •    - Flange bolts
       - Seals
       - Heat shields
       - Brackets
       - Pipes
