Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the steering gear from the vehicle. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement .

    2. Important: Use care not to damage the threads of the housing when removing the check valve.

  2. Use a small screwdriver in order to pry the check valve from the housing.

Installation Procedure
  1. Use a piece of tubing 3/8 inches in diameter and 100 mm (4 in) long to drive the new check valve into the housing.
  2. Install the steering gear. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement .
