Disassembly Procedure
  1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .
  2. Remove the electrical BTSI actuator. Refer to Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control Disassemble - Off Vehicle .

    3. Object Number: 324909 Size: SH
  3. Remove the hexagon flanged head bolt.
  4. Remove the ball and actuator assembly (2).
  5. Remove the shift lever clevis (1).

    6. Object Number: 324874 Size: SH
  6. Remove the park lock cable (1) from the lock module assembly.

    7. Object Number: 324897 Size: SH
  7. Remove the 2 oval head 6-lobed socket tapping screws from the shift gate.
  8. Remove the park lock cable assembly.

    9. Object Number: 324900 Size: SH
  9. Remove the hexagon flange head bolt.
  10. Remove the cable shift cam assembly (1).
  11. Remove the cam bushing (2) from the cable shift cam assembly (1).

    12. Object Number: 324902 Size: SH
  12. Remove 3 flat head 6-lobed socket tapping screws.
  13. Remove the gearshift lever assembly support bracket.
