DEFINITION: This diagnostic procedure should only be used if the power doors unlock with the power door lock switches and are inoperative with a keyless entry transmission.

Did you perform the Remote Keyless Entry System Check?

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver connector.
2. Connect a test lamp between cavity B and ground.
3. Press the LF door lock switch to the unlock position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

Repair the open in CKT 194 (WHT) between the remote control door lock receiver and S257. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
