Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 277852 Size: SH
  1. Apply cloth-backed tape to the door and to the body pillar.
  2. Remove the pin retainer.
  3. Using a soft-faced hammer and locking pliers, remove the hinge pin.
  4. Remove the spring.
  5. Remove the check assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 277852 Size: SH
  1. Install the check assembly.
  2. Install the spring.
  3. Using a soft-faced hammer and locking pliers, install the hinge pin.
  4. Install the new pin retainer.
  5. Remove the cloth-backed tape from the door and from the body pillar.
