Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 856639 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) tube from the canister vent valve.
  3. Disconnect the canister vent valve electrical connector (3).
  4. Detach the canister vent valve from the vent valve bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 856639 Size: SH
  1. Install the canister vent valve to the vent valve bracket.
  2. Connect the canister vent valve electrical connector (3).
  3. Connect the EVAP tube to the canister vent valve.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
