Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1207542 Size: SH
  2. Unclip the cable end (1) off of the seat back latch.
  3. Remove the cable from the seat back latch.
    4. 3.1. Squeeze the cable retainer tabs (2) together.
    3.2. Pull the cable from the seat back latch.

  4. Unclip the cable end (1) from the head restraint release mechanism.
  5. Remove the cable from the head restraint release mechanism.
    6. 5.1. Squeeze the cable retainer tabs (2) together.
    5.2. Pull the cable from the head restraint release mechanism.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1207537 Size: SH
  1. Push the cable into the hole in the head restraint release mechanism.
  2. Ensure the retainer tabs fully extend to secure the cable to the head restraint mechanism.
  3. Clip the cable end onto the head restraint mechanism.

    4. Object Number: 1207542 Size: SH
  4. Push the cable end into the hole in the seat back latch.
  5. Ensure the retainer tabs fully extend to secure the cable to the seat back latch.
  6. Clip the cable end onto the seat back latch.
  7. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
