Procedure

1. Remove the rear wiper motor. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement .
2. Remove the 4 applique nuts from inside the liftgate panel.
3. Release the 3 upper integral retainer clips from the exterior side of the liftgate panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Tip
Transfer the rear view camera (if equipped). Refer to Rearview Camera Replacement .

Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the rear wiper motor. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement .
3. Remove the 4 applique nuts from inside the liftgate panel.
4. Release the 2 integral retainers from the exterior side of the applique.

6 N·m (53 lb in)

Liftgate Center Applique Harness Grommet

Tip
Ensure the grommet is secure to the liftgate panel hole prior to the installation of the applique.
