J 24086-C Piston Pin Removal and Installation Set

1. Disassemble the piston rings. Use new rings during assembly.
2. Remove the connecting rod bearings.

If the bearings will be reused, place the bearings in a rack in order to ensure reinstallation with the original connecting rod and the cap.




3. Remove the piston pin as follows:

3.1.	Place the piston/connecting rod on the J 24086-C .

Fully support the connecting rod.

3.2.	Press out the piston pin.
