Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement Vent Valve

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Disconnect the vent pipe (2) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent valve.
3. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent valve electrical connector (3).
4. Detach the EVAP canister vent valve from the EVAP canister vent valve bracket (1).

1. Install the EVAP canister vent valve to the EVAP canister vent valve bracket (1).
2. Connect the EVAP canister vent valve electrical connector (3).
3. Connect the vent pipe (2) to the EVAP canister vent valve.
4. Lower the vehicle.

Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement Vent Pipe

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Disconnect the EVAP vent pipe (3) from the EVAP canister vent valve.
3. Disconnect the vent pipe (3) from the EVAP canister.
4. Disconnect the vent pipe from the retaining clips (5) located on the fuel tank.
5. Remove the EVAP vent pipe.

1. Position the EVAP vent pipe (3) on the fuel tank.
2. Connect the EVAP vent pipe (3) to the retaining clips (5) on the fuel tank.
3. Connect the EVAP vent pipe (3) to the EVAP canister.
4. Connect the EVAP vent pipe (3) to the EVAP canister vent valve.
5. Lower the vehicle.
