Condition

Some customers may comment on a momentary loss of oil pressure while braking during an aggressive turning or cornering maneuver. An engine knock may also be heard as a result of this oil pressure loss.

Correction

Replace the oil pump pipe and screen assembly, P/N 12594424 (2nd design). Refer to Oil Pump Pipe and Screen Assembly Replacement (SI Document ID #1220726).

Replace the oil pan, P/N 12600498 (2nd design without baffle). Refer to Oil Pan Replacement (SI Document #1220716).
