Caution: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in the Preface section.

Notice: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Notice in the Preface section.

1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .



2. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service in order to disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe (5) from the following:

•	The fuel tank module (2)

•	The vent valve (4)

3. Disengage the EVAP pipe (5) from the retaining features molded into the fuel tank.

1. Secure the EVAP pipe (5) to the retaining features molded into the fuel tank.
2. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service in order to connect the EVAP pipe (5) to the following:

•	The fuel tank module (2)

•	The vent valve (4)

3. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
