1. Disconnect the generator connector.
2. Connect fused jumper across terminal L (V6 VIN M) or terminal B (L4 VIN 4) and ground.
3. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.

Does the charge indicator light?

1. Check CKT 25, 39 and bulb for an open.
2. If OK, replace or exchange instrument cluster.
