- Connect a DMM between the radio connector C1 terminal 10 and ground.
- Measure the available voltage at the radio connector C1 terminal
10 with the ignition switch ON.
Is the voltage within the specified range?

- Reconnect all radio connectors.
- Disconnect the Bose® Relay #43.
- Connect a DMM between the CKT 145 terminal inside of the instrument
panel electrical center and ground.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the radio to the ON position.
- Measure the available voltage between CKT 145 terminal inside
of the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the Bose®
Relay #43.
Is the voltage within the specified range?

- Disconnect the Bose® Processor connector.
- Connect a DMM between the Bose® Processor connector terminal
A8 and ground.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the radio to the ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the Bose® Processor connector
terminal A8 and ground.
Is the voltage within the specified range?

- Disconnect the radio connector C2.
- Disconnect the compact disc player connector.
- Connect a DMM between the radio connector C2 terminal 15 and ground.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Check the radio connector C2 terminal 15 for a short to battery
power.
Is CKT 835 shorted to battery power?
