Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor 1 connector.
  3. Remove the EGT sensor 1 from the front exhaust pipe.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1820485 Size: SH
  1. Install the EGT sensor 1 in the front exhaust pipe.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the EGT sensor 1 to 45 N·m (33.2 lb ft).

  2. Connect the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor 1 connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
