Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
- Remove the CMP sensor.
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.
Installation Procedure
- Install the CMP sensor using the retaining bolt and tighten to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
- Connect the CMP sensor connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
