Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375361 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve wiring harness connector.
  3. Remove the EGR valve.
  4. Remove the EGR valve gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375363 Size: SH
  1. Clean the EGR valve adapter mating surfaces.
  2. Install a new EGR valve gasket.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the EGR valve using the retaining bolts and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
  4. Connect the EGR valve wiring harness connector.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
