Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1820590 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connector.
  3. Remove the CKP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1820590 Size: SH
  1. Install the CKP sensor using the sensor retaining bolt and tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
  2. Connect the CKP sensor.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
