Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1256120 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the retaining nut from the bracket.
  4. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256120 Size: SH
  1. Position the ambient air temperature sensor into its bracket.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the retaining nut to the bracket.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the ambient air temperature retaining bracket nut to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
