Removal Procedure

    Important: Do not exchange digital radio receivers between vehicles. Exchanging digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio theftlock. "XM theftlock" will be displayed.

  1. Remove the left rear trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

    2. Object Number: 1446099 Size: SH
  2. Remove the receiver bracket nuts.
  3. Remove the receiver from the bracket.
  4. Disengage the electrical connector and the antenna connectors from the XM radio receiver.

    5. Object Number: 955754 Size: SH
  5. Remove the XM digital radio receiver from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1446099 Size: SH
  1. Install the XM digital radio receiver to the receiver bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the radio receiver nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector and the antenna connectors to the XM radio receiver.
  4. Install the left rear trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
