Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and duct work. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 377146 Size: SH
  2. Remove the electrical connector from the ESO solenoid.

    3. Important: Remove any debris from the ESO mounting surfaces on the injection pump before servicing the ESO Solenoid. This will prevent contaminate intrusion into the injection pump.

  3. Remove the ESO solenoid.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 377146 Size: SH
  1. Install the new O-ring on the ESO solenoid.

    2. Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the ESO solenoid in the injection pump.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the solenoid (external hex or internal hex) to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Install the ESO electrical connector.
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly and duct work. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  5. Start engine and check for leaks.
