Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle and support with safety stands.

    2. Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil filter from the oil filter fitting.
  3. Remove the oil filter fitting from the engine block.

    4. Object Number: 524884 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil cooler bypass valve. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Removal .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 524884 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler bypass valve into the engine block.

    2. Object Number: 181988 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter fitting into the engine block.
  3. Install the oil filter to the oil filter fitting.
  4. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
