Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2000 🢒 Express 🢒 Driveline/Axle 🢒 Propeller Shaft 🢒 Slip Yoke Spline Lubrication
  1. Apply chassis lubricant (GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent) at the slip spline grease fitting until the grease begins to escape through the vent hole.
  2. If the slip spline is dry or corroded, clean the splined surface on the slip yoke by doing the following:
    3. 2.1. Remove the propeller shaft from the vehicle. Refer to Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
    2.2. Wire brush the affected area.
    2.3. Wipe clean the affected area.
    2.4. Install the propeller shaft. Refer to Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
    2.5. Apply chassis lubricant (GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent) at the slip spline grease fitting until the grease begins to escape through the vent hole.
