Removal Procedure
- Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
- Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement in Automatic Transmission.
- Disconnect the engine oil cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
- Disconnect the following hoses if applicable:
- Remove the radiator from the vehicle.

| • | Coolant recovery hose |
| • | Heater outlet hose |
Installation Procedure
- Install the radiator to the vehicle. Ensure the lower insulators are properly installed.
- Connect the following hoses if applicable:
- Install the engine oil cooler lines to the vehicle. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
- Install the transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement in Automatic Transmission.
- Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
- Install the fan shroud to the vehicle. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement
- Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
- Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
Notice: When adding coolant, use DEX-COOL® coolant. If silicated coolant is added to the system, premature engine, heater core or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, the engine coolant will require change sooner-at 50 000 km (30,000 mi) or 24 months.
