Preliminary Procedures

    • Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
    • Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
    • Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Coolant Pipe to Thermostat Housing Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
21 N·m (16 lb ft)

EGR Coolant Pipe

Tip

    • Compress the clamp and disconnect the EGR coolant pipe from the EGR cooler tube.
    • When installing the EGR coolant pipe, replace the O-ring seal.
