Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 871221 Size: SH
  1. Remove the passenger windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior trim.
  2. Disconnect the microphone electrical connector (1).

    3. Object Number: 882887 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front headliner. Refer to Headlining Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Release the microphone wiring from the glue spots on the headliner.
  5. Grasp the microphone (1) and rotate clockwise in order to release the microphone (1) from the headliner.

    6. Object Number: 882886 Size: SH
  6. Remove the microphone (1) and wiring from the headliner.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 882886 Size: SH
  1. Feed the microphone (1) wire through the hole in the headliner.
  2. Align the microphone (1) with the hole in the headliner and install the microphone in the opening.

    3. Object Number: 882880 Size: SH
  3. Rotate the microphone (1) counter clockwise to secure.
  4. Glue or tape the microphone wiring to the headliner.

    5. Object Number: 871221 Size: SH
  5. Install the front headliner. Refer to Headlining Front Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Connect the microphone electrical connector (1).
  7. Install the passenger windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior trim.
