- Using a feeler gage, measure the piston travel between the intermediate clutch backing plate and the intermediate clutch backing plate retaining ring (629). Piston travel should be
1.02-2.72 mm
(0.040-0.107 in).
- If piston travel is not correct, inspect for the following conditions and repair as required.

| • | Worn case area in the snap ring groove |
