Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.2L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.4L engine.

Important: Drain only the fluid from the radiator coolant recovery expansion tank.

2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
3. Disconnect the generator electrical connectors from the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement .
