Removal Procedure
  1. Turn OFF the Ignition.
  2. Remove the fuel injection saight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.

    3. Object Number: 217748 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and hoses from the EVAP canister purge valve.
  4. Bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket to remove the EVAP canister purge valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 217748 Size: SH
  1. Bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket to install the EVAP canister purge valve.
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve.
  3. Connect the hoses and the electrical connector to the EVAP canister purge valve.
  4. Install the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
