Dome Lamp Inoperative - keywords courtesy light light map reading

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Dome lamp inoperative.

Inspect circuit 690 (gray with black tracer) in the wire harness under the carpet by the driver's seat for chaffing or other damage. It is necessary to remove the driver's seat to inspect the harness. If wire damage is found repair the wire per SI procedures and reroute the harness as necessary.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
