Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2004 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.6L (LB7) 🢒 Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Support the engine using suitable safety stands.
  3. Disconnect any engine harness clips or line routing on the engine mount.

    4. Object Number: 816298 Size: SH
  4. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine mount bolts.
  5. Use a suitable engine hoist to lift weight off the engine mounts.

    6. Object Number: 905627 Size: SH
  6. Remove the engine mount bracket.
  7. Remove the engine mount bolts (1,2, 3).
  8. Remove the engine mounts and spacer (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 905627 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount and spacer (4).
  2. Install the engine mount bolts in the following order.
  3. Loose assemble bracket to engine with 3 bolts and the spacer.
  4. Finger tighten the 2 side position bolts (1, 2).

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Tighten the front facing bolt (3) with spacer (4).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the M14 engine mount bolts to 160 N·m (118 lb ft).

  6. Tighten the side facing bolt (1, 2).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the M12 engine mount bolts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  7. Install the engine mount bracket to the engine mount.
  8. Lower the engine on to the engine mounts.

    9. Object Number: 816298 Size: SH
  9. Install the engine mount bracket to engine mount bolts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount bracket to engine mount bolts to 240 N·m (178 lb ft).

  10. Connect any engine harness clips or line routing on the engine mount.
  11. Remove safety stands and lower the vehicle.
