Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2004 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Cooling 🢒 Fuel Filter Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
  2. Disconnect the water-in-fuel sensor harness connector.

    3. Object Number: 752028 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel filter (2) from the fuel filter/heater element housing (1).
  4. Remove the water-in-fuel sensor (3) from the fuel filter (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 752028 Size: SH
  1. Install the water-in-fuel sensor (3) to the NEW fuel filter (2) and tighten 1/2 turn after the seal contacts the filter.

    2. Important: Inspect the fuel filter/heater element housing and the fuel filter for a dislocated filter seal or contamination. Contamination on the fuel filter/heater element housing may cause leakage at the fuel filter. Coat the seal with clean engine oil.

  2. Install the fuel filter (2) on the fuel filter/heater element housing (1).
  3. Connect the water-in-fuel harness connector.
  4. Prime the fuel system.
  5. Install the NEW fuel filter to the fuel filter adapter and tighten 1/4 turn after the seal contacts the filter adapter.
  6. Connect the negative battery cables.
  7. Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.
