Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2005 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Set the parking brake.
  2. Block the wheels.

    3. Object Number: 823121 Size: SH
  3. Pull on the instrument panel cluster trim plate in order to disengage the retainers.
  4. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate from the instrument panel.

    5. Pull in the following sequence in order to disengage the retainers.

    4.1. Pull at the left corner.
    4.2. Pull at the right corner.
    4.3. Pull at the top.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the switches in the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  6. Move the automatic gear shift lever to the first gear position.
  7. Rotate the instrument panel cluster trim plate counterclockwise.

    8. Lift the trim plate over the steering column.

  8. Disconnect the headlamp switch if equipped, from the instrument panel cluster trim plate by releasing the outboard tabs.
  9. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate from the vehicle.
  10. Inspect the instrument panel cluster trim plate for broken or missing retainers.

    11. Replace the retainers as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 823121 Size: SH
  1. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the headlamp switch to the instrument panel cluster trim plate by pressing on the switch in order to engage the retainers.
  3. Rotate the instrument panel cluster trim plate clockwise over the steering column.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the switches in the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  5. Press the instrument panel cluster trim plate in order to engage the retainers.
  6. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate filler to the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  7. Move the shift lever to the park position.
  8. Remove the blocks from the wheels.
  9. Release the parking brake.
