Removal Procedure
  1. Support the transfer case with a suitable jack.

    2. Object Number: 1341868 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts and nuts from the transfer case crossmember to the side bracket.

    3. Object Number: 1341865 Size: SH
  3. Remove the side bracket bolts and nuts.
  4. Remove the side bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1341865 Size: SH
  1. Install the side bracket to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the side bracket bolts and nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1341868 Size: SH
  3. Install the bolts and nuts from the transfer case crossmember to the side bracket.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  4. Remove the support from the vehicle.
