Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 823462 Size: SH
  1. Remove passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the fixed antenna base cable from the radio antenna cable.

    3. Object Number: 823466 Size: SH
  3. Partially remove the radio and disconnect the antenna cable from the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  4. Attach a long wire to the antenna cable radio connector.
  5. Pull the antenna cable until the wire can be easily accessed under the instrument panel. Make sure the wire is still accessible at the other end.
  6. Remove the wire from the antenna cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 823466 Size: SH
  1. Attach the long wire to the new antenna cable.
  2. Gently pull on the wire until the cable is accessible.
  3. Remove the wire from the antenna cable.
  4. Connect the cable to the radio and install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 823462 Size: SH
  5. Connect the fixed antenna base cable to the radio antenna cable.
  6. Install the passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
