Removal Procedure
- Apply the parking brake.
- Block the wheels.
- Drain all the reservoirs. Refer to Draining Reservoirs .
- Rotate the trailer air supply valve knob and the parking brake knob counter-clockwise to remove.
- Disconnect the air lines from the valve.
- Tag or label the air lines for later installation.
- Remove the valve assembly retaining screws.
- Remove the valve assembly.
- Inspect the air lines for damage or deterioration. Repair the air lines as needed.
Installation Procedure
- Install the valve.
- Install the knob.
- Start the engine.
- Charge the system air pressure to the governor cut-out point.
- Stop the engine.
- Check for air leaks using a soap solution.
- Check for proper operation.
- Remove the wheel blocks.
