Engine Flywheel Installation Automatic Transmission


    Object Number: 1150598 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the flex plate is installed correctly. Engine Side is stamped on the flex plate to assist with installation.

  1. Install the flex plate.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts.

    3. Tighten the bolts following a criss-cross pattern.

    Tighten

    1. Tighten the bolts a first pass in sequence to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the bolts a second pass in sequence to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
    3. Tighten the bolts a final pass in sequence to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  1. Install the engine flywheel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the engine flywheel bolts.

    3. Tighten the fasteners following a criss-cross pattern.

    Tighten

    1. Tighten the bolts a first pass in sequence to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the bolts a second pass in sequence to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).
    3. Tighten the bolts a final pass in sequence to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
